| Description: |
American Ale. Alaskan ESB is darker and much hoppier than the Amber. It has an exquisite ruby, copper color derived from Crystal malt. Alaskan ESB has an aggressive hop character and aroma, balanced with a rich, malty body.
Originally a popular Alaskan Seasonal, Alaskan ESB became a year-round product in 1996 under the name Alaskan Frontier. The name was changed to Alaskan ESB in 2000 to better reflect the hoppy flavor profile. This beer has won six medals in the American Amber Ale category at the Great Amberican Beer Festival. |
