Place one card of each rank (Ace to Queen), in the shape of a clock with Queen being 12. Place marker on Queen. The cards in this shape don't have to be a certain suit.
Play begins to dealer's left. That player chooses a number between 1 and 12. Dealer counts the cards, keeping them face down, and flips over the card of player's number (Example. 4 is picked. Put down 3 cards and flip over #4). Move marker to the card that has been flipped, going backward on a black card and forward on a red card. Player drinks the number of "spaces" the marker had to move to get to that number. If the marker crosses the Queen, player gives away number to any other player. Drinks given away can be split up. (Example: Marker on 5, black Jack is flipped. Player can give away 6 drinks (4, 3, 2, Ace, Queen, Jack). If marker lands directly on the Queen, player gives away double the amount he/she normally could. However, if the marker starts on the Queen, it does not double the drinks. Once all the drinks are swallowed, play passes to the left.
If you run out of cards, pick up the cards that were not used that time around until all cards are flipped.
If a King is flipped, time stops for that player. He/She doesn't drink anything and the next player drinks or gives away double the normal amount. The person(s) that drew a King do not drink until someone draws a card other than a King. (Example: Marker on 6. Two players draw kings. Third player draws a red 10. Number of drinks triple because of 2 kings, so **7, 8, 9, 10** 4 drinks times 3= Player drinks 12. If player had drawn a black 10, **5, 4, 3, 2, Ace, Queen, Jack, 10** 8 drinks times 3= Player gives away 24 drinks to anyone BUT those that drew a King).
Any time two or more people have to drink at the same time, they must clink or toast glasses/bottles/cans... whatever.
Everyone drinks on the last card. If it's a King, everyone tips up. (Finishes whatever is left in their glass/bottle/etc.)
Optional rule (this is where the shot glass or HUGE mug comes in): If a King is drawn, the player that drew the King drinks what is in the shot glass or mug (naturally, it should be filled every time a King is drawn. Any alcohol will do in either container, but beer is preferred in mug). Players can choose to keep the multiplying rule, even with this option in place, if they want to.
